The Texas Legends and Central KIA have announced the return of their annual car giveaway contest. For the second year in a row, one lucky fan will drive away during the final home game in a brand new 2015 KIA Optima.

Central KIA and the Texas Legends will once again defy gravity by suspending the KIA Optima above center court during home games, putting the car on display for fans during the season. Last year, the team suspended a KIA Soul above center court catching the eyes of the NBA and sports industry.

The activation was a first in the sports industry and earned “Best Activation” during the NBA Development League’s annual award meetings. “We love the creative, outside the box ideas that Central KIA brings to the table,” commented Dallas Mavericks’ GM and Texas Legends Owner Donnie Nelson. He added “KIA is the kind of partner you want, and they bring another element of fun to our fan experience and community.”

Frank Mihalopoulos, Owner of the Central KIA dealerships, remarked, “Our Central KIA team is excited to partner up with the Texas Legends for the third consecutive year. It’s great to be part of the family fun and activities Donnie Nelson and the Legends bring to the Frisco community. We are looking forward to having an amazing year and wishing our friends good luck in the new season.” Frank closed with “you can only win the car if you show up this season! Come join the fun!”

Finalists will be chosen through an “Enter to Win” contest. Beginning this fall, fans can register at Legends offseason community events and at all home games. Twenty-six finalists will be chosen at random.

Fans can register by doing any of the following:

- Attend Legends community events this fall
- Attend Legends Home Games
- Test drive a new KIA at any Central KIA dealership in Plano, Lewisville or Irving
- Sign up online at WinANewKia.com

Each finalist will be invited back to the final home game on Saturday, April 4th where they will test their luck by random selection of a key. One lucky winner will have the key that starts the car. Last year it came down to the last contestant, before selecting a key that started the car!
